Chatroom procedures

Ok, so we can finally bring peace and
prosperity back into the once safe haven for Hetalia RPers that we
used to all know and love called Hetaplay not to mention
NicolesNYRebellion, though that was one incident I feel like that
place is starting to get a little to drama-y, anyway, Im making a set
of rules and procedures that I hope you people will follow. (thats a
word  cause i say so)

Reason A) Your messages have been
lost among the sea of conversations, do not panic, this normal and
merely stating politely you are feeling ignored will most likely
fix this problem. If that message has been lost among other
conversations as well merely type in the name of someone you know
will speak up for you, a close friend who you feel will help grab
everyone elses attention, into the text box so that their name
will be highlighted and will be sure to notice and tell them about
how you feel. That person, will then hopefully help you feel
included. People who I know will help are HelloCooki3, Sho, along
with myself.. We are all here to roleplay, and have fun and we
want everyone else to have fun to. If someone else is feeling left
out it is our job as friends to help this person out.

Reason B) Your not saying anything
really. Instead of talking to other characters in rp you sit there,
say nothing then claim your being ignored. Now this is not your
fault for not knowing how chats work . We assume its the real life
equivalent of standing there with a group of friends who simply
decide not to include you. Though this is not the case and heres
why. All to often different users will come into chat, change tabs
and forget about having opened up chat room, or maybe have left the
computer. If you say nothng for long periods of time then we assume
you are one of these people. Also Id lke to point out this is no
ones fault and merely a misunderstanding.</P>

ReasonC) So you've tried rping but no
one seems to respond to what you wrote, there are two different
reasons for this

a) You have written somethng like this “Sits in a random bench and read,� or “Takes a nap at home,� or anything that includes doing a solo actvity. This time you have have given other rpers nothing to work off of. Ill point out the problems with the previous examples step by step to help you understand a better way to write this.</P>

Example 1: (sits at a random bench
and reads a book)Well there are several reasons why this might not
work out such as:


Simply, you havent given them a lot to write about. Rping is like writing a story and there arent a lot of stories to write around someone sitting at a bench and reading.

1. People want to joing in
   exciting rps. Thoug this doesnt mean you have to write something
   like “She winces as she struggled to reach her life long goal
   It had been years since she had started training, but it was
   worth it, because today, she would finally reach it.....the peak
   of Candy Mountain� Sometimes all you have to do is add in
   another character who is present in rp into what you write. Like
   this
   

   
   

   (sits at a random bench, a vein
   visibly bulging in annoyance as New York continued to poke her
   cheek)

   
   

   Example 2: (is asleep at home)

   
   

   RP is supposed supposed to
   simulate normal behavior (unless a crack rp is going on) So, how
   is anyone supposed to interact with your character , if they are
   asleep at home? Would you walk straight into your friends house
   for no reason then walk into their room to find them asleep and
   wake them up for a random chat?

   
   



Note: The best way to jump into an
rp,  Ive found is to just go up to a random character and talk to
them, glomping them usually starts up a good conversation too
btw, Though if that person is wrapped up in their own rp that
they dont see your message please check the Reason A under the
section I wrote on being ignored.

Reason D: This is very unlikely and
I have never seen this happen before but if someone is purposely
trying to ignore you, please note me or someone you feel you can
trust to help you, to talk to this person. Hopefully we can get
this sorted out.

2. You cannot rp the ship you want,

Reason A: You and someone else want
to ship your character with the same guy. If this happens follow
this procedure.

Step1:  Ask POLITELY if the other
person is willing to step of this characters.

Step 2: If Step1 fails, ask POLITELY
if the other person is willing to rp their ship in the next rp

Step 3: If there is a dispute over
who gets the character first, r if for some reason you really
REALLY want this character for this particular rp, Ask everyone
taking part in the rp if they would be ok with two of the same
character, If the answer is yes, then ask the person rping the guy
being fought over if they could  handle rping that character
twice.

Step 4: If that is too many
characters for them to rp , pleas ask another rper to be that
character for you.


Note: if they cannot rp that many
characters at once please understand that this is not personal,
and in return please do not MAKE this a personal matter by making
it a bigdeal.

If not one can rp this character for
you there will need to be two different outcomes.

Outcome 1: If an agreement can't be
met, and you really really REALLY want to rp this particular ship
Im sorry to say  you'll just have to find another chatroom with
someone wo is willing to rp your hip with you. Thoug please, this
does not mean you have to leave the other chat. In fact I ask
that you please do not leave chat if at all ok with you. We all
just want to rp and and have fun with our friends , and none of
us want to see them leave char for something as small as a
shipping dispute, or for any reason at all for that matter.


Outcome 2: If no two people are
willing to give up on this character  Id like to ask that the one
rping the guy being fought over to either not ship with either
or, if it has really come down to it, not rp that character at
all.
